Boy and kite pourrait être une peinture de Constable. Avec cette touche de rouge dans le bleu vert blanc de la campagne, le sujet très humble et intense à la fois. Dit-on de l’Angleterre ce qu’on dit de la Normandie : quand il ne pleut pas, c’est le paradis sur terre ? Ce qui promet une heure de paradis par jour en Normandie 😉 et c’est déjà pas mal !

😂 Je ne sais pas si l’on dit cela de l’Angleterre, mais les Anglais disent quelque chose de similaire sur le Pays de Galles, qui est splendide, sauf qu’il y pleut sans cesse.
C’est vrai pour Constable ! 🙂

Hi Sefanie ! Yes, we travelled a lot this summer ! I hope your move to Germany was not too hard (although I bet it was…) and your plants have arrived safely. I imagine it will be quite a change for the children.

We will be going that way next month. Let’s hope for a day or two like that one you enjoyed. The purple of the heather is something of a stranger in East Kent.
